Online Korean ID verification

If you activate a prepaid SIM card by passport, you won’t be able to verify your ID online (본인인증) until you got the ARC card. Korean Online ID verification must be provided ARC information.
If you need online Korean ID Verification, please send us a copy of your ARC front and back. 

Passport Activated SIM can only use for 90 days since activation but you can extend the service period by verifying your ARC.
Please email us your ARC card if you want to keep your current number for more than 90 days.

Recharge Credit Guide

Purchased credits are only valid for 30 days upon receiving date. Users must recharge their credits monthly to maintain the service.
After 90 days, all the services will be stopped, and be able to receive calls and texts for an additional 10 days. If you did not recharge during 10 days, your SIM card will automatically be canceled.

Prepaid AutoPay

  • You can set up an automatic monthly payment by submitting your Korean banking account copy. Also, you can simply cancel the automatic payment by contacting the Kimchi Mobile Support center.
  • ARC and Korean Bank Account is required for automatic Recharge Payment Setup.

Recharge Cancellation

  • It is not possible to cancel the recharge after the process is completed. Out of a simple change of mind, you may not request the cancellation.

Which phones work with a Korea eSIM?
Most recent unlocked phones support eSIM — iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Your phone must be carrier-unlocked. Phones bought in mainland China or Hong Kong may not support eSIM.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — you can request a refund any time before you install or activate. If a QR code cannot be delivered or activated due to a service fault, email [email protected] for a resolution.
