How to Apply

❌ Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation policy applies specifically to this special promotion:
- Prepaid Service Non-Conversion Penalty: If you purchase prepaid service but do not convert to postpaid service after receiving your Residence Card, a $50 USD penalty fee will be charged.
- Please note that the Prepaid Data eSIM cannot be cancelled or refunded once it is activated on your device.
- No Refunds: All other situations will not be eligible for refunds as this is a special promotional offer.

Questions about this plan
Does this include a real Korean phone number?
Not on arrival. You land on 60GB of data for up to 60 days. Your real Korean 010 number — the one that receives the SMS codes Korean apps need, like KakaoTalk, banking and 본인인증 (identity verification) — is issued when you convert to a KT postpaid plan with your physical Residence Card (ARC). This plan is for long-stay and long-term-visa holders; short-stay visitors should choose a data-only eSIM. Not sure your visa qualifies? Ask KIMO before you buy.
Do I need an Alien Registration Card (ARC) to get the number?
Yes. The data period runs on your passport, but your real Korean number is only issued when you switch to KT postpaid, and that needs your physical Alien Registration Card (ARC) plus a Korean bank account or card. The ARC takes about 2–3 weeks after you arrive, and the registration-fact certificate is not accepted yet — only the physical card.
Which phones work with a Korea eSIM?
Most recent unlocked phones support eSIM — iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Your phone must be carrier-unlocked. Phones bought in mainland China or Hong Kong may not support eSIM.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — you can request a refund any time before you install or activate. If a QR code cannot be delivered or activated due to a service fault, email [email protected] for a resolution.
