Three simple plan types — a data eSIM for trips, a recharge top-up, or a Welcome Package that lands you on data and converts to KT postpaid for a real Korean number once your Residence Card (ARC) arrives. Every plan runs on KT’s nationwide network.

Honest answers
Shopping for a Korea plan
Which Korea plan should I choose?
For a short trip, a data-only eSIM (5GB, 10GB or 20GB) is usually all you need. If you’re moving to Korea on a long-stay visa and need a real Korean number for banking, delivery apps and 본인인증, choose the Welcome SIM or Korea Starter SIM — you land on data, then get your number once your Residence Card (ARC) arrives and you convert to KT postpaid.
Do your eSIMs include a Korean phone number?
The data-only eSIMs give you fast data on KT’s network but no Korean number, ever. The Welcome SIM and Korea Starter SIM also land you on data first; a real 010 number is issued only after you convert to KT postpaid with your physical Residence Card (ARC), about 2–3 weeks after you arrive. Short-stay visitors should choose a data-only eSIM.
When do I activate, and how is it delivered?
eSIMs are delivered as a QR code by email, usually within minutes. Install before you fly and activate after you land in Korea — your validity starts on activation.
