Korvia and Kimchi Mobile teamed up to provide prepaid SIM cards for EPIK Fall 2022 teachers. You can pay for a 30days credit and activate your SIM card upon your arrival. This will only apply to registered Korvia-EPIK teachers.
EPIK will send your contract and NOA directly, so we can’t send your SIM card through Korvia. If you have not received a SIM card yet, you can get one at the Incheon Airport.
If you already got a SIM card from the Korvia team, you can fill out the application form and make a reservation for the activation upon arrival.
How to activate my SIM card?
- Purchase 30days credit
- Filling out an activation application form
- Submit the application form and photo of ID (Passport or ARC)
- You will receive your cell phone number by email
*Prepaid SIM card can only activate after your arrival in Korea
Can I choose a prepaid plan?
Yes, you can choose your first 30 days of credit. We have three unlimited prepaid plan available.
Overseas manufactured smartphones except iPhone may not compatible with LG U+ prepaid SIM cards.

We will send you SK eyes prepaid SIM card instead if you are using a smartphone manufactured overseas for activation compatibility reasons.
Can I keep this number after 30 days?
You can keep your Korean cell phone number by recharge credit every 30days.
After 90days, you must Register a copy of ARC to use the current SIM service for the rest of your stay in South Korea.
- You cannot extend the SIM without ARC
Can I downgrade my plan for the next month?
No, you cannot downgrade the plan until 92days after activation.
You can change your plan after 92days.
- SIM service may valid for only 90 days if you subscribe to this service using your passport, you must provide us a copy of ARC.
